Personal Data Policy
Last updated: September 7, 2026
This policy describes the current personal-data practices for earthly.top. The site is a static information page. It does not provide user accounts, contact forms, comments, or on-site payments.
Privacy and confidentiality notice
Do not enter, send, or otherwise share confidential information, passwords, financial or health information, or other sensitive personal data through this site. Links on this site lead to independent third-party services whose own policies apply.
Your analytics choice
Microsoft Clarity and GoatCounter are optional. Neither analytics service is loaded unless you select “Allow analytics.” Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under earthly.analyticsConsent.v1. If you continue without analytics, the site remains available and the analytics scripts are not loaded.
Microsoft Clarity
With permission, this site uses Microsoft Clarity to understand site use and improve usability. Clarity can process interaction and technical data such as visited pages, clicks, scrolling, pointer movements, session replay, heatmaps, browser and device details, identifiers, and approximate location derived from an IP address. Microsoft may use first- and third-party cookies and similar technologies for this processing.
This site sends Clarity an analytics-storage consent signal and denies advertising-storage consent. It does not use Clarity data for advertising. Microsoft currently states that ordinary playback data is retained for 30 days and click data, heatmaps, and labeled or favorited sessions are retained for 9 months. See Microsoft's Clarity disclosure guidance, Clarity retention information, and Privacy Statement.
GoatCounter
With permission, this site uses GoatCounter for traffic statistics. It may process the page and referrer, browser and operating-system category, language, screen width, and approximate country derived from an IP address. GoatCounter states that it does not store IP addresses, full user-agent strings, or tracking identifiers, and does not store cookies or other data in a visitor's browser. It may temporarily use the site name, IP address, and user agent in memory for up to eight hours to avoid counting repeat visits. Depending on service settings, usage data may be stored as aggregated statistics or individual pageview rows. See the GoatCounter privacy policy.
Hosting, browser storage, and external links
- GitHub Pages delivers this site and may process connection and request information under the GitHub Privacy Statement.
- A service worker may cache public site files on your device so the page can load more reliably. You can clear this cache through your browser settings.
- When you follow an external link, that service receives your request and may receive technical data such as your IP address, browser details, and referrer. Its privacy policy governs that processing.
Retention and sharing
The site operator does not maintain a separate visitor database. The browser keeps your analytics choice until you clear site data or change the choice. Analytics, hosting, and linked-service providers retain and disclose data according to their own policies and legal obligations. Declining analytics affects future collection; it cannot reverse information already processed under an earlier choice.
Your choices and questions
You may decline optional analytics, revisit your choice above, clear this site's cookies and storage in your browser, or use browser privacy controls. For questions or requests concerning this site's practices, contact the site operator through the Medium profile linked from the home page. Provider-specific requests may also need to be directed to the relevant provider.
Policy changes
This page will be updated when the site's data practices materially change. The date at the top identifies the current version.
